Are You Ready For The For Honor Beta?

With For Honor only a few weeks away, Ubisoft is gearing up with a closed beta which will run from Thrusday 1/26 – Sunday 1/29 this weekend. Given the game only has a few weeks left before being released, this gives the team time to analyize any issues that would hinder the post launch gameplay. With that, lets take a look at some of the classes you will be given to test.

For the Vikings, you will have access to the Raider, the Berserker and the Warlord.

The Raider:
Slow, yet extremely powerful, the Raider is utilized when it comes to crowd clearing or to kill a target with overwhelming, strong attacks. Armed with a two handed great axe, it can be swung around to easily remove enemies from the battlefield. The Raider is the perfect choice for those who like to have their presence known on the battlefield and prefer to overwhelm their enemies with strong attacks.

The Berserker:
Close range specialists and a love for combat, the Berserkers rush into battle wielding two battle axes. With fast attacks and a infinite array of chaining attacks, the Berserkers are a force on the battlefield. Much like the Peacekeepers, the Berserkers are perfect for those who wish to recklessly rush into battle and can hold their own in a battle whether its 1 enemy or an army.

The Warlord:
Great at close range, the Warlord enters the battlefield armed with a sword and shield combo. A simple, yet brutal fighting style the Warlord is the best choice for those who want to be close yet have a variety of combos and counter attacks to make one player feel like a 1,000.

For the Knights, you will have access to the Conqueror, The Warden and the Peacekeeper.

The Conqueror:
Heavily armored, the Conqueror uses its massive flail to wittle away their opponents’ stamina. Relying on a defensive style, the Conqueror is best suited for those who like to calculate their attacks and overwhelm their opponents’ with a barrage of attacks. They have the ability to interrupt enemy attacks with their standard block along with their unblockable shield attacks, the Conquerors are a force to be reckoned with.

The Warden:
The Warden is the best balance of offense and defense. The Warden is effective at just about every type of combat. Using a two handed great sword, the Warden can use it with ease whether on offense or defense. They have the ability to charge in with an unblockable shoulder charge, as well as a compliment of throws and attacks useful for interupting your opponent.

The Peacekeeper:
The Peacekeeper specializes in stealth and speed. Quick and efficient, the Peacekeepers rush into battle carrying a one handed sword and dagger to perform execution style attacks. Much like the Berserker, the Peacekeeper is the perfect choice for those who are all about rushing into the battle without a care in the world.

For the Samurai, you will have access to the Orochi, the Kensei and the Nobushi.

The Orochi:
Armed with the infamous Katana, The Orochi uses a mix of attack and defense with a specialization in counter attacks. Just like the Warden, the Orochi is best used for those who like to use counter moves to kill their opponent but are still willing to enter the battle.

The Kensei:
Slow, yet powerful, the Kensei uses a long range approch with the Nodachi blade. However, their slow speed is complemented with powerful attacks. Much like the Raider, the Kensei is perfect for those who want to keep their distance from their opponent just before they drop a power strike.

The Nobushi:
Specializing in long range attacks with the mysterious Naginata blade, the Nobushi pair this mighty weapon with their quick speed to keep their opponents’ at bay. Much like the Peackeeper, the Nobushi use lightweight armor move move quickly around the battlefield. Perfect for those who like to rush into combat, the Nobushi utilize range and speed to take out their enemies.
