With May right around the corner, we take a look of the massive list of games coming out and we chose the top 5 games we think are the best games might just be worth your hard earned money.

#5: Space Hulk Deathwing Enhanced Edition

Released on PC in 2016, Space Hulk: Deathwing is a 4 player 1st person cooperative game set in the Warhammer 40K universe where you play as a Terminator going in to investigate a Space Hulk that has gone silent. When you arrive, you find out that the Genestealers have turned it into their new nest. In the Enhanced Edition, you will have access to the original story campaign but you will have access to new character (the Chaplain), new weapons & armor, skills, enemies and other improvements. Set to be released on May 22 on PC and PS4 for $39.99.

#4: Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition

Another game released on the Wii U, Hyrule Warriors is a Dynasty Warriors style game set in the Legend of Zelda universe. With the same story as the original Hyrule Warriors, the definitive edition comes with updated graphics with new costumes based on the Breathe of the Wild game. Set to be released on May 18 on the Switch for $59.99.

#3: State of Decay 2

State of Decay 2 is a direct sequel to 2013 State of Decay, a 3rd person open world survival game where you combine stealth, role playing and strategy in a solo or cooperative setting while you explore, scavenge while you fight hordes of the undead. Set to be released on May 18 on PC and Xbox 1 for $49.99 for the ultimate edition and $29.99 for the standard edition.

#2: Detroit: Become Human

Detroit: Become Human is a 3rd person action adventure survival game which is subject to a set and controllable perspective which there are multiple characters within the game. As a result, there is no true game over, as you will switch to another character and the story will adapt to the changing narrative. You will be able to “rewind” certain events in the story to redo an event that you regretted. Set to be released on May 25 for PS4 for $59.99.

#1: Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze

Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze brings back the classic 2D side-scrolling action that older gamers will remember while newer gamers will appreciate. In DKC:TF, you will travel to 6 different islands in order to defeat the Snowmads. Just like the previous games, you will be able to switch between all your favorite characters, and for the first time you will have Funky Kong as a playable character. Set to be released on May 4 for the Switch for $59.99.
