The 2nd Review

E3 2017 Part 2

We brought you EA’s press conference and now its time for Microsoft’s press conference. There was a lot of interesting and intriguing releases today from both companies and there was somethings that were just… unusual.

Xbox One X

Microsoft finally debuted what the ‘Scorpio’ is and the name is just odd. The Xbox One X (which actually spells XB.O.X.) is being touted as more powerful than the PS4 Pro but the best was the price tag. At a whopping $499 (you know, because $599 would’ve priced itself out of the market), the new Xbox One X will be native 4K (and if you watched the press conference, you could have made a drinking game to how many times they said 4K) with other performance enhancements making it a true beast of a system.

Crackdown 3

There aren’t many games out there that fans will wait for ever on but Crackdown 3  is one of them. This explosive shooter has been in limbo for quite sometime, but it will finally be released on 11/7/17

Halo Wars 2: Flood DLC

Halo Wars has been the RTS that fans always wanted on consoles and Halo Wars 2 continued that perfect union last year. This time Microsoft brought us the first major DLC for Halo Wars 2 and it looks like the Flood are making their long awaited debut in this fantastic RTS. Check out the trailer below, because well, typed words don’t do it justice.

State of Decay 2

A follow-up to the original, State of Decay 2 pits you in an open world, cooperative survival game in a small town that has been overrun with zombies. You are tasked with (and your friends) to survive by building up your weapons, gear and the game is dictated by how you build your base (ex. build a garden or guard tower). A truly one of a kind survival game that minor mistakes can have grave consequences. Planned for a 2017 launch, check out the trailer below.

With Microsoft done and out of the way, stay tuned for part 3.
